US VIKINGS 1970 - 1972 The Brave Vikings, Erik and Odin, were introduced by Marx in 1970. They were introduced as an accompaniment to the Noble Knights and I guess meant to be an adversary. Historically that concept is obviously very silly, however to a young boy, the knights now had something to fight - great! ODIN THE VIKING CHIEFTAIN Odin has a caramel coloured body with reddish brown hair and a full beard. His accessories (22) consist of black hard plastic weapons and helmets and cream coloured clothes. He came in an MOD type box and contained a Viking instruction sheet. Boxed Odin's are quite hard to find especially with all their accessories intact. The most common problems are the bow is usually broken as is the strap on the horn and quiver. The cord on the cloak is also very easy to break when it is taken off the figure. (Be careful when you pull the cloak over the head).

BRAVE ERIK Erik has a pale green body and yellow/blond hair. He also has 22 accessories including black weapons/ helmets but his clothing is dark brown. As with Odin, Erik is hard to find boxed and complete as he suffers from the same problems.
